Built from an empty industrial shell.
NOCTRA began as a temporary series in a former logistics hall on Mannheim’s harbour edge. What started with four nights, borrowed lighting and a small circle of selectors gradually became a permanent home for electronic music away from fast-moving hype.
The club’s identity grew around three principles: precise sound, respectful nights and a program that gives both established artists and regional residents enough time to develop a musical arc.
Sound & booth
A system tuned for clarity, not volume alone.
The Main Floor is built around a four-point Funktion-One system with dedicated infrabass, individually aligned delay zones and acoustic treatment around the booth. The DJ setup combines four CDJ-3000X players with a Xone:96; a DJM-V10 is available for selected productions.

Studio
A 280-capacity black-box room for deep house, electro, dub and experimental formats. Lower ceiling, closer booth and deliberately reduced lighting.
Garden Floor
Seasonal outdoor area for sundowners, day raves and community formats. Operates from afternoon into the early night with a warmer, more open musical direction.
